Fuelled by a whole bunch of different interests, I'm good at using data to help make smart decisions in all sorts of projects. I enjoy diving into a technical subject and figuring out how to make it more accessible for everyday users. When it comes to working in a team, I'm all about bringing out the best in everyone and making sure we're all playing to our strengths.
University has taught me to reframe problems into opportunities - it's a way of thinking I'm always trying to spread. I can't help but be excited about what's coming next in technology. However we should not close our eyes for the potential dangers it could introduce. I see designers as the ones who can take these upcoming tech innovations and use them to make the world a better place. To make this happen, it's all about looking at the big picture, mixing together different areas of expertise, and always putting the user first when creating a product or service. Every project I've worked on, the user has been at the heart of my design process. I love coming up with fresh, creative ideas, but I also know it's super important to keep an eye on the financial viability, to make an impact you need to be able to fund the development. I have seen too many great ideas go to waste because not enough thought went into the business model and asking the right questions.
