What did I do?

For my external learning activity, I did an internship at Quin in Amsterdam. This is a growing software company in health care industry. Quin’s mission is to empower patients by delivering a data driven platform, both in the Netherlands and internationally. One of my biggest goals was to see howI can contribute within a company with these characteristics and find out what interests me and what doesn’t. At the same time, I wanted to grow professionally and validate my identity and vision. Quin turned out to be a great company to achieve my goals because they provided all the freedom I needed to find my role. I have been able to participate in a wide range of projects, ranging from creating data visualisations to user research. This resulted in me being a more professional designer with a clear idea what motivates me and how I want to proceed in my studies and professional career. In the process I further developed several expertise areas.
